Jan 13, 2017 - I read a lot of posts about which irons are the easiest to hit and I haven't seen any posts/responses referencing the Maltby Playability Factor. The MPF serves as a clearing house to divide different irons into general playability categories. Be aware that Ralph Maltby, who developed the MPF system, gives two cautions in using it: The MPF rating takes into account only the head design capabilities; it doe not rate the shaft.
